Tutorial Friday: marinade for tonight’s salt & pepper fried chicken (Stay tuned for the final product tonight)  8oz bite sized cubed chicken, 1T finely chopped scallions, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1T minced ginger, 1tsp salt, 1tsp sugar, 2T water, 1T rice wine, 1/4tsp baking soda, 1T dark soy sauce, 1/2tsp chicken bouillon, 1/4tsp pepper salt - Marinade for 30 mins. Coat chicken with cornstarch and deep fry until golden brown. Toss with pepper salt and top with fried basil. Enjoy!  Post and tag hungrypiglet604 with your salt and pepper chicken results!
